WHY NOT OTHER COUNTRIES?
Poland offers EU membership and Schengen access at a fraction of the cost of Germany, France or the Netherlands. Unlike Germany, Poland requires no APS certificate and the visa process is faster. COST OF EDUCATION
Polish university fees for international students range from €2,000 to €6,000 per year for most programs. Some public universities charge as little as €1,500 per year for English-taught programs. Private universities charge €3,000 to €8,000 per year. Medical programs cost €8,000 to €15,000 per year. The total cost of a 2-year Masters in Poland including fees and living expenses is approximately €15,000 to €20,000.
INTAKES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Poland has two main intakes — October (main) and February. The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) offers the Ulam Programme and Bekker Programme scholarships. The Polish government Ignacy Łukasiewicz Scholarship Program supports students from developing countries. Many Polish universities offer merit-based fee waivers of 20% to 50%.
EXAM REQUIREMENTS
IELTS 5.5 to 6.5 or TOEFL 72 to 90 for English-taught programs · Polish language certificate for Polish-taught programs · GRE and GMAT are generally not required · Academic transcripts and motivation letter are the key admission requirements for most programs. Poland has some of the most accessible admission processes for Indian students among all European countries.
VISA PROCESS
Step 1 — Receive your university admission letter. Step 2 — Apply for a Polish National Visa at the VFS Poland centre in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai or Bangalore. Step 3 — Submit documents including admission letter, financial proof of minimum €5,000, health insurance, accommodation confirmation and academic documents. Step 4 — Attend biometric appointment. Step 5 — Receive visa decision typically within 2 to 4 weeks.
